Please join the Philadelphia Photo Arts Center for our first annual Patron Party featuring a lecture and book signing with world-renowned photographer Tina Barney.  This event takes place on Wednesday, October 19th at 6 pm.  The lecture is open to the public for a suggested donation of $5.

Tina Barney, born in 1945 in New York, began her career by photographing those closest to her, many of whom are New England socialites.  Part candid, part tableau, Barney’s large-scale photographs provide a visually in-depth documentation of upper class lifestyle and the complexities of interpersonal relationships.

After the lecture, meet Tina at an intimate dinner party in the Rittenhosue Square home of board members Tom Cailan and Martin McNamara.  Tickets to the dinner are $150 per person or $250 per couple and include free admission to the lecture.  The dinner begins at 8 pm.  To purchase tickets to the dinner, please contact Julie Howard Taylor at (215) 232-5678 or julie@philaphotoarts.org.
