We received so many inquiries about artists needing more time that we decided to extend the deadline for the Philadelphia Photo Arts Center’s third annual Contemporary Photography Competition and Exhibition.
Submissions can only be made from now until Thursday, May 31st at 11:59 pm by using Slideroom.  Submissions can also be dropped off at PPAC until 5:00pm on Thursday.  There will not be another extension, so now is your last chance!
This juried contest is your chance to put your work in front of Kathy Ryan, Director of Photography at the New York Times Magazine and Natasha Egan, Director of the Museum of Contemporary Photography.
Selected entries will be exhibited at PPAC from July 12 – September 8 and will be included in a book of the exhibition.  First, second and third prize winners receive $750, $250 and $100 respectively.  The contest is open to all subject matter, photographic techniques and processes.  The cost is $40 to submit up to five images.  Click here for full submission guidelines.
